I forget life is fleeting,
I forget life has no meaning,
So, why am I afraid!
All the choice that are around me,
All the sadness that surrounds me,
But it holds no meaning and it will pass away.
The joys that life holds
The passions it may show
Escape through the crack of time
Between these palms of mine.
And then I see a darkness
And it covers me whole,
And within these blackened walls,
I find there is still hope.
For if there be a darkness
Then there must surely be a light
Which is hiding in this darkness,
But it will be surely mine.
